Romania ranks 5th in EU for industrial production growth

Romania’s industrial production increased by 0.1% in April compared to the previous month. The industrial production in the EU and the eurozone recorded a similar growth, according to the EU’s statistical office Eurostat. Lithuania’s industrial production saw the biggest increase in the EU - 3.4%. Romania’s industrial production rose by 4.3% in April year-on-year, recording the fifth biggest growth in the EU. For comparison, the industry production increased by 1.2% in the EU and by 0.8% in the eurozone. editor@romania-insider.com
