Revamping for Romania's railway bridges across Danube with EUR 27 mln

The association Arcada Company - Metabet - Compania Construcţii Feroviare will provide revamping work for railway bridges across the Danube in Romania, via a contract worth some EUR 27.4 million, over two years. The companies signed the contract with railways infrastructure operator CFR. Work should start within a month. Traffic will close on both ways, so the old railway bridge – Anghel Saligny – will be used in the meantime. The costs of the project will be 85 percent covered by EU funding and 15 percent from the state budget. editor@romania-insider.com
