Real estate,energy and capital market deals boost law firm Reff si Asociatii’s transaction volume to EUR 1 bln

Law firm Reff si Asociatii’s total volume of managed transactions amounted to EUR 1 billion in 2011, according to the company. The 20 percent growth over 2010 was recorded mainly due to the consolidation of the M&A portfolio in real estate, and the progress in energy and capital market segments. “2011 was a great year for our practice, which recorded a significant increase in the portfolio of customers and representative projects, maintaining a high volume of assisted transactions given that the total value of the market shrank compared to the previous year. Progress was made both in the practice areas such as M&A, real estate, and banking, and in areas that are in a full development, such as energy competition and litigation,” said Alexandru Reff, Partener Reff și Asociatii. In January 2012, the law firm’s attorneys offered legal advice to South-African investment fund New Europe Property Investments (NEPI) in the purchase of the office complex Business City Center in Timisoara.
