RCI Leasing to deliver 132 cars to the Romanian Post under EUR 1.5 mln contract

Leasing company RCI Leasing Romania will supply 132 cars to the state-owned Romanian Post under a three-year contract worth EUR 1.5 million, VAT included. RCI Leasing, a subsidiary of RCI Banque, the financial division of Renault group, was the only bidder in this acquisition and the contract was awarded on November 29. In the first half of November this year, RCI Leasing has signed a EUR 480,000 contract with the Romanian Post for delivering 35 commercial vehicles. The Romanian Post is the largest postal services operator in Romania. It runs a network of over 5,500 units across the country and has some 30,000 employees. At the end of 2012 the company had debts of some EUR 127 million (RON 568 million) and a turnover of around EUR 269 million (RON 1.2 billion). Irina Popescu, irina.popescu@romania-insider.com
