Romanian railways infrastructure company CFR has finalized the modernization of six railway stations across Romania, with some EUR 27 million from the EU. The stations in Slatina, Reşiţa Sud, Zalău, Bistriţa Nord, Giurgiu Oraş and Botoşani have been revamped. In total, 11 railway stations were modernized between 2013 and 2014, with some EUR 54 million.
