Raiffeisen Leasing financed goods worth EUR 53 million last year, a five fold increase compared to the year before, according to the company's general manager Felix Daniliuc. Almost half of the financing contracts covered car purchases, while equipments, 41 percent. Real estate leasing weighted only 12 percent of the total. The company's net profit was of EUR 900,000, out of a total profit of EUR 1.9 million posted by the group, which also includes Raiffeisen Broker de Asigurare-Reasigurare and Raiffeisen Leasing Moldova. This year's pipeline of new businesses will come from the medical equipments segment, infrastructure and agriculture, according to Daniliuc. editor@romania-insider.com
