Procter&Gamble appoints Romanian at helm of Russian plant

Consumer product giant Procter&Gamble has appointed Romanian Adina Pascu, who has been running the company's factory in Timisoara for the last six years, at the helm of its plant in Novomoskovsk, Russia. The Russian factory is P&G's largest, according to Ziarul Financiar. Pascu, 42, has been working with Procter&Gamble for the last 17 years, the last six of which she has been running Detergenti SA, P&G's factory in Timisoara. The Russian factory she will run provides detergents, household products and paper products for the entire Eastern European region. Pascu, a Timisoara Electrotechnic university graduate, previously worked at the Russian factory as liquids operations manager. With a turnover of USD 83.7 billion in 2012, P&G is active in 75 countries. The Novomoskovsk plant in Russia was opened in 1993 and the investment in the plant has exceeded some USD 250 million so far. editor@romania-insider.com
