The German supplier of electronic payment services Wirecard has acquired Provus Group, the largest local payment processing center. The transaction price amounted to EUR 32 million, according to the German company. Polish investment fund Innova Capital has sold its whole stake in Provus. The group includes the Provus Services Provider, Romcard, and Supercard Solutions & Services divisions. Innova Capital bought Provus in 2011, and in 2013 it took over the majority stake in the Supercard Solutions & Services company. Founded in 2001, the group has 114 employees. Its portfolio includes customers such as the pharmacy network Sensiblu, fuel distribution network MOL Romania, and supermarket chain Cora. editor@romania-insider.com
