Police fire multiple gunshots during car chase in Romania’s Constanta

A routine police inspection turned into a scene from an action movie in Romania's Constanta county. The incident took place on Sunday evening when the Police tried to stop a suspicious-looking car with Bulgarian plates for inspection at Eforie Nord seaside resort, but things didn’t go as planned. The car’s driver decided not to stop and even hit a police truck trying to run away, reports local Mediafax. That is when the car chase started. During the chase, the policeman and the gendarme in the Police car also used their guns trying to stop the suspects, firing a total of 18 gunshots. They’ve hit the tires of the suspects’ car, which eventually stopped in a roundabout located at the entry on the highway. Three of the four suspects managed to run away from the police, but the driver was arrested and taken in for questioning. The Police found several tools used for house break-ins in the suspects’ car.
