PlantExtract builds new factory in Cluj – Napoca's Tetarom park

Romanian nutritional supplements producer PlantExtract will build a drug production factory in Cluj – Napoca with an investment budget of EUR 2.5 million. This will be the company's second production unit. It will be located in Tetarom I industrial park and will double the company's production capacity. The investment will be started next year and works should be ready in a year and a half. The factory will cover 4,000 sqm, our of which 1,200 sqm will be the production space. The new factory will employ 100 people. PlantExtract sold 12 natural product brands to LaborMed last year. The company expects EUR 3.2 million turnover for this year, which would be up 30 percent on last year. The growth will be fueled by the newly launched line of products and by the collaboration with Ozone, for which PlantExtract produces brands such as Imunogrip, Imunorezistan, Donavital. PlantExtract shareholder Igor Kiril Peev also expects a growth of the nutritional supplements market by up to 15 percent on last year.
