Greece’s Piraeus Bank recorded a gross profit of EUR 3.3 million in 2013 in Romania, above the 2012 level, while its assets increased by 16 percent, to over EUR 2 billion. The balance of loans exceeded EUR 1.6 billion last year, up 20 percent year-on-year, reports the local media. The value of deposits attracted by Piraeus Bank Romania was of over EUR 1 billion, up 21 percent from the previous year.
