The local subsidiary of the British payment operator PayPoint recorded a net profit of over EUR 3 million in 2015, up 14% over the previous year. The company also saw a turnover of EUR 42.3 million, according to data available on the Finance Ministry’s website, cited by local Ziarul Financiar. The revenues increased by 12% year-on-year. About 125 people worked for the British payment operator in Romania last year. The company is specialized in cash payment operations and electronic charge through retail points.
