PayPoint Romania sees 12% increase in transactions

PayPoint Romania recorded a 12.1% annual increase in its transactions between March 2016 and March this year, reaching 75 million transactions. The invoice payment segment saw an advance of 11.6% to 67.2 million transactions. Meanwhile, the segment of electronic charges of prepaid phone cards went up by 16% to 7.3 million transactions. PayPoint signed collaboration agreements with 22 new partners during the 2016 financial year. The company currently has a portfolio of 138 major players from various industries, with local or national coverage. PayPoint launched two projects during this period, namely the PayPoint Colet Expres service and the first collaboration agreement signed with a fiscal institution that allows local taxes and payments to be collected through PayPoint. editor@romania-insider.com
