(P) TENNIS FOR PEOPLE starting on 21st of June

The second edition of the charitable Tennis for People Amateur Open will take place between 21st and 23rd of June at The Diplomatic Club. Organized by The Princess Margarita of Romania Foundation, the event gathers diplomatic representatives, company business leaders and personalities from different fields in an open competition with a charitable purpose. Tennis for People encourages interaction between generations, between energy and experience, as a reflection in sport of the intergenerational features of the Princess Margarita of Romania Foundation’s programs. The purpose of this sporting event is to raise vital funds for 50 children in need, supported at the Foundation’s Project - Generation Community Center. At the center the children receive a hot meal every day, constant help with their school work, educational and creative guidance, psychological counseling, and other social services for themselves and their families. Friendly nocturnal tennis matches, the opportunity to socialize with partners, colleagues and friends in an outdoor relaxed atmosphere, an exciting exhibition match of stars and a rewarding and special final ceremony are just some of the reasons to join this enjoyable sporting event.
