The Equestrian Salon 2012 – Salon du Cheval Bucharest, the first ambitious event dedicated to economical, sports and cultural equestrian activities, will be premiered in Romania during the period September 27-30, in the vicinity of Bucharest (DN1). Organized by the equitation club Equestria,The Equestrian Salo n aims at bringing in Romania the model of the Salon du Cheval Paris and at creating a powerful source of inspiration for a refined lifestyle, as well as calling the eye to a future potential business in Romania. The program, boosted by a joyful atmosphere, includes high performance horse presentations, exhibition stands of equestrian products and devices, paralleled by a complex program of equestrian shows: parades, horse stunts, horse acrobats shows, dressage aso. As all horse lovers know, the interest for the pretty horses and the related activities has increased in the last years in Romania. Horse races, horse studs, acrobats shows, dressage are very attractive for the Romanian public. The Equestrian Salon wants to revive this passion for horses and for their abilities of producing mesmeric shows in the very meaning of the word. Doubtless, one of the most attractive pieces of the event is the international competition Grand Award of the Bucharest City, the start of which registered over 170 horses from Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania so far. The official ceremony launching the first edition of The Equestrian Salon in Romania will take place on Saturday, September 29, at the headquarters of the Equestria club in Tâncăbeşti (Snagov village) and will bring into light the horse guard parade of the Romanian Gendarmerie, the parade of the attending clubs and the 6 studs, horses and riders presentations, horse parades, equipages parade etc. Increasing the charm, notorious names of the world equitation such as Gilbert Remy (Luxembourg) - international course designer grade III FEI (International Equitation Federation) accredited and Alice Debany, winner of numerous awards at international competitions Grand Prix type or Nations Cup, will be special guests of the Equestrian Salon. “The first edition of <the Equestrian Salon> creates the premises of a European perspective, which we hope to intensify with every new edition, and may include Romania among the emerging countries more and more ambitious economically, socially, sportively and culturally.
