(P) King’s Oak British International School announce their first scholarship programme

Over 20 years ago The International Nursery School began. This innovative nursery quickly grew to become The International School for Primary Education. InSPE has provided an outstanding international education to numerous children since. For many years, parents have been asking us to teach their children when they leave the Primary School and this year the school is growing and providing a secondary education. Consequently, the name is changing to reflect this new stage in our development. On March 18th 2016 InSPE will become King’s Oak British International School. To mark this event, we are offering up to 4 scholarships for our new secondary department. The children must be 11 years old by 31st August 2016 to enter the scholarship competition and successful students will enter Year 7 in the Autumn Term 2016. Scholarships awards will be granted not only on academic ability but on financial needs and parents may be asked to provide financial disclosure.

Candidates will be required to submit their name, date of birth and current school to officereception@inspe.ro by 22nd March 2016 The selection of scholars will be as follows: 1. An examination consisting of maths, English and non-verbal papers will be sat on Tuesday 29th March. Dependent on the result of the examinations selected students will be invited to the school in the week commencing 4th April. 2. Students selected for the second phase of must prepare a 10 minutes presentation on the subject, “What is a global citizen” 3. Students will undertake an interview with the Head of School and the scholarship committee and parents will meet with the Head of School. 4. The committee will review the files of candidates and make their recommendations. Scholarships results will be announced by 15th April 2016 and individual candidates will be contacted about their results. Contact Information:
