Over a third of the small and medium-sized enterprises from Romania (37%) want to moderately increase their business in the next two years, whereas over half of the SMEs wants to keep their business at the current size (54.11%). Only 4.82% of them want to rapidly expand their business, according to the White Paper of SMEs - 2014 edition. About 2.15% of the SMEs want to reduce their business, 1.83% intend to close it, and only 0.39% plan to sell their business. Companies that are 10-15 years old have a bigger share among the SMEs that plan to keep their business at the current size (61.38%), and a smaller share among firms that intend to reduce their business (0.81%).
