Over 6 mln passengers transit Bucharest’s airports

Air traffic at the two airports in Bucharest increased by 7.7% in the first nine months of this year to 6.3 million passengers, according to the Bucharest Airports National Company CNAB, reports local Mediafax. For the entire year, the figure is expected to increase to a total of 8 million passengers, from 7.6 million registered in 2013. Between January and September, the number of aircraft movements also increased by 5.7%, to over 77,000. In September, CNAB saw over 829,000 passengers in transit, up 9% year-on-year.
