Oracle expands office space in Oracle Tower, leases in Nusco Tower; 14,000 sqm added in total

The local subsidiary of Oracle Corporation signed a five-year agreement for a 14,000 sqm office area in two office buildings, Oracle Tower and Nusco Tower, according to The Advisers/Knight Frank, who represented Oracle in the deal. Oracle will move to the new premises in Nusco Tower starting this autumn. This is the biggest office letting deal this year made with the support of a real estate consultancy company. “Oracle was the first tenant of Oracle Tower and also the first company oriented towards Floreasca-Barbu Vacarescu, the most wanted business area of the moment. The second transaction made by them was represented by the leasing of 7,314 sqm in 169th A Calea Floreasca, where they are also the major tenant,” said Horatiu Florescu, President & CEO of The Advisers. Since 2006, Oracle Romania has used Oracle Tower to house one of its centers, renting over 7,173 sqm. Oracle’s space requirement was larger this year, thus its need was covered by two buildings. Besides the decision to continue another five years in Oracle Tower, almost 7,000 sq m were taken up in Nusco Tower. Hence, the company has become the largest tenant of the building delivered this year by Nusco Group.
