Almost 9 in 10 top Romanian executives see a turnover growth this year

Almost 90% of the top managers in Romania expect to see increases in their businesses this year, according to a survey published by EY Romania. Some 81% also predict an increase in their companies’ profitability whereas 82% of the respondents plan to raise the salaries of their employees. As for profitability, almost one in three companies expect an advance of over 10% in the net result. About 64% of the firms plan to increase investments by 5-30% by the end of this year. The survey is based on the answers of 267 top executives. Some 13% of the respondents lead companies with a turnover of over EUR 50 million, 27% are in charge of firms with businesses between EUR 10-50 million, 41% head companies with a turnover of EUR 1-10 million whereas 19% are manage firms with businesses below EUR 1 million. editor@romania-insider.com
