NTT DATA Romania increases turnover by 40%

Software provider NTT DATA Romania, the former EBS Romania, recorded a turnover of EUR 22 million in the first eight months of the year, up 40% compared to the same period last year. The company aims to reach a turnover of EUR 35 million by the end of the year, up 38% year-on-year, said the general manager Daniel Metz. NTT DATA Romania managed to expand in the UK area, by providing more services to telecom group Liberty Global. On the local market, the company grew the number of its customers, especially in the embedded services area, in the local car parts industry. Some of its clients in this area include Elster (a Honeywell company), Autoliv, Renesas, and Continental Automotive. The software company has 1,100 employees and plans to add another 100 by the end of this year. editor@romania-insider.com
