Nexans Autoelectric builds factory in southwestern Romania

German group Nexans Autoelectric will build a plant that will produce cables for the German company Daimler in Targu-Jiu, southwestern Romania. The investors will build the factory on a 4-hectare plot, leased for 49 years from the City Hall Targu-Jiu, reports local Economica.net. The local municipality will sign this week the contract with the German group Nexans Autoelectric. The factory will create around 2,000 jobs, said mayor Florin Carciumaru.
