The net investments in the national economy amounted to EUR 15.65 billion last year, down 3.3% compared to 2015, according to data published yesterday by the National Statistics Institute (INS). The net investments in new construction work went down by 2.8% in 2016 compared to the previous year, to EUR 7 billion. As for the investments in equipment, they rose by 0.3% year-on-year, to EUR 6.76 billion. In the last three months of 2016, the net investments dropped by 14.9% year-on-year to EUR 5.2 billion. editor@romania-insider.com
