The number of individual debtors to banks and nonbank financial institutions (NBFIs or IFNs in Romanian) increased by 3.97% year-on-year in November 2014, from 685,489 to 712,737, according to data from the National Bank of Romania (BNR), cited by local Capital.ro. The number went up by 9.27% compared to October 2014, when there were 652,268 debtors. The total number of arrears amounted to 949,172 in late November 2014, while their total value is over EUR 2.42 billion. editor@romania-insider.com
