The modern office stock in Bucharest reached 2.16 million sqm last year. It went up by 6% compared to 2013, reads a study from the real estate agency DTZ Echinox. The 12 office buildings that were delivered in 2014 had a 117,000 sqm rentable area. The whole leasing transaction activity amounted to 298,000 sqm last year. The number of office buildings delivered in 2015 will go up by 30%, according to DTZ Echinox estimates. About 152,000 sqm will finalize this year, 28% of this area being already pre-rented. Most of the new office buildings will be delivered in the North-Central (Barbu Vacarescu - Floreasca) and the West areas, similarly to 2014. editor@romania-insider.com
