Mio expects to sell 2,000 GPS devices in December

Mio Technology, which produces GPS devices, expects to sell 2,000 such devices in Romania in December alone and reach 25,000 units sold for the entire 2010. “December is very important for the annual evolution of the local GPS market and implicitly to Mio Technology's sales. Apart from December, the months of July and August usually lead the annual sales, around 30 to 35 percent of the total estimated sales,” said Sergiu Gansca (in picture), Marketing & Sales Manager Mio Technology for Romania and Hungary. Last year, Mio sold 30,000 GPS devices, on a market estimated at 60,000 sold units, according to the company.
