Millennium Bank cuts interest rate for CHF loans in Romania

Local lender Millennium Bank will reduce the interest margin by 1.5 percentage points for all loans in Swiss Francs, for three months. "Millennium Bank's loan portfolio in Swiss Francs is very low, but we constantly analyze the market trends and we want to ensure our customers that we'll continue to search for protection measures," said Adrian Popa, Director of Marketing and Communication, cited by local Mediafax. OTP Bank was the first lender that reduced the interest margin by 1.5 basis points for all loans in Swiss Francs. Millennium Bank Romania, a former member of the Portuguese group Banco Comercial Português, became part of the OTP Group in January this year after OTP Bank Romania took it over for EUR 39 million. editor@romania-insider.com
