Household appliances producer Miele opens new store in central Romania

German household appliances manufacturer Miele opened a new exclusive store in Sibiu, central Romania. This is the third such store on the local market, after Miele Boutique Cluj and Miele Boutique Brasov. The new store covers 50sqm and is opened in partnership with Okapi Electronics. In the first six months, the new unit is expected to generate revenues of some EUR 150,000 from the sale of household appliances. Besides Miele appliances, the store also sells kitchen furniture under other brands. “Miele Store Sibiu’s opening, the third exclusive store in Romania, is part of the development strategy in Transylvania, the most important region in terms of sales,” said Loredana Butnaru, Sales Manager, Miele Romania. Miele currently has a network of 30 partners and 56 stores in Romania. At the beginning of the year, the company launched its online showroom on the eMAG Marketplace platform.
