Mega Image reaches network of 318 units with new opening in Bucharest

Mega Image, part of Belgian group Delhaize, opens today, July 4, a new Shop&Go store in Bucharest, with a sales area of 128 sqm, reaching a network of 318 units in Romania, reports Ziarul Financiar. Mega Image opened 7 new stores in June, out of which two were Mega Image supermarkets and 5 were Shop&Go neighborhood stores. The retailer reached sales of EUR 530 million in 2013, up by one third compared to 2012. Retailer Mega Image sees fivefold increase in Romanian sales in seven years on rapid expansion.
