Romanian healthcare group Medlife opens largest private clinic in Cluj-Napoca

Romanian private healthcare operator MedLife has opened the largest private clinic in Cluj-Napoca, north-western Romania, following a EUR 800,000 investment. The new unit has over 60 doctors and support staff. It covers about 1,800 sqm on four floors and includes 22 medical offices for investigations. MedLife entered the market in Cluj-Napoca in 2008, after opening a medical analysis laboratory. Over a half a million people have come to the clinic in seven years and made about 2 million investigations. The private healthcare operator also has 8,000 subscribers from the 400 partner companies. Medlife currently operates 15 hyper clinics in Romania and plans to open four more units in 2016. editor@romania-insider.com
