Maxi Toys opens new store in Bucharest

Maxi Toys, one of the largest toy retailers in Europe, has opened a 300-sqm new store in Bucharest, in the newly inaugurated Mega Mall. Belgian brand Maxi Toys entered the Romanian market in 2014 through the franchise held by distributor Nicoro Trading, which owns the franchising rights for Romania, the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary. The company’s main goal is to expand the Maxi Toys network in Bucharest and in the country, said Mihai Frangulea, Nicoro Trading general manager, reports local Dailybusiness.ro. “The aim of this brand is to establish its central headquarters in Romania, but to expand on a regional level,” said Philippe Beke, Belgian Ambassador in Bucharest. editor@romania-insider.com
