Italian and French top furniture retailers open their first stores in Romania

Italian premium furniture retailer Casa Convenienza and French luxury furniture designer Roche Bobois recently announced their entry in the Romanian market with new stores opening in Bucharest. Casa Convenienza’s first store is located in West Park shopping center, owned by Liebrecht & wooD Group. The new store comprises a 1,050 sqm display and shopping space which will include top Italian design furniture. The official opening is scheduled for May 15. Casa Convenienza represents a new furniture concept launched by Casa Magica Design, an architecture and design company operating in Romania since 1998 and specializing in premium furniture solutions, together with General Business System, which is the importer of the Samsonite luggage brand in Romania. French company Roche Bobois already opened its first store in downtown Bucharest at the end of April. The 600-sqm showroom is located on Calea Victoriei close to the Radisson blu hotel. Roche Bobois sells French design luxury furniture and addresses a high-end clientele. Romanian businessman Serban Cismarescu brought the franchise to Romania. He also owns furniture retailer Innova, which sells luxury Italian furniture. editor@romania-insider.com
