Longer holidays for brokers: No trading on Bucharest Stock Exchange on December 24 and December 31

The Bucharest Stock Exchange will be closed on December 24, on Christmas Eve, and on December 31 - New Year’s Eve, the market operator’s board has decided. The last trading day before Christmas will be December 23, which falls on a Tuesday, which allows brokers and investors to take a five-day Christmas holiday, as the trading resumes on Monday, December 29. Tuesday, December 30, will also be a trading day, the last of this year. The Bucharest Stock Exchange will then be closed for another five days, from December 31 until January 4.
