The Olympic Games in London starts today ( July 27 ) at 23:00 Romanian time, with an opening ceremony costing around EUR 35 million to stage. British Director Danny Boyle led the opening ceremony project and the show will present a 'vision' of British civilization. Around a billion people are expected to watch the opening ceremony worldwide, which the organizers say will contrast sharply with the Beijing Olympics opening.
