Logistic developer CTP invests EUR 35 mln in new warehouse in Romania

Czech-based company CTP, one of the biggest investors in industrial and logistics spaces in Central and Eastern Europe, has started work on a new building in the CTPark Bucharest West industrial park. The new warehouse, which requires an investment of EUR 35 million, should be completed in the second quarter of next year, reports local Ziarul Financiar. The warehouse has an area of 60,000 square meters. CTPark Bucharest West is located on the A1 highway, some 23 kilometers west of Bucharest. The construction of this new building is generated by the high demand on the market for class A logistics spaces, said Marian Orzu, Head of Leasing and Business Development Department, CTP Romania. CTP took over CTPark Bucharest West from Prologis in the second part of 2015. Earlier this year, CTP expanded the park’s built surface from about 100,000 sqm to 130,000 sqm. editor@romania-insider.com
