Italian low-cost airline Air Vallee will enter the Romanian market with a route connecting Parma to Bucharest, from the end of March this year, and another one connecting Torino to the Moldavian city of Iasi. Two weekly flights will connect Bucharest to Parma, while three flights a week will be scheduled on the Torino – Iasi route.
“Romania is an important market for the Parma’s catchment area and we are aware that Bucharest is a destination which has been widely requested,” said Paul Whelan CEO at Parma Airport. Air Vallee was created in 1987 to promote the commercial development of the Corrado Gex Airport in Aosta. Apart from the low-cost airlines services, it also runs charter flights, aerotaxi, heliski and helicopter tourists flights. In Romania, Air Vallee is run by Davide Strinna.
