Italian company Impresa Construzioni Giuseppe Maltauro has won the contract to build the 17-km segment Nadaselu-Mihaiesti of the Transylvania Highway, offering a price of EUR 99 million, almost twice lower than the one estimated by the National Highways Company. The authorities estimated a price of EUR 183 million for the project, reports local Economica.net. The contract was awarded via a public tender, and the project will be financed with money from the state budget. The highway segment is located in the Cluj county.
