Investors: Romania can become a second Poland

Romania could become the second Poland in terms of real estate investments, as the Polish real estate market has reached saturation, according to investors and real estate consultants who took part at a conference in Bucharest on this topic. Slovenia is a small market, Hungary has a difficult political situation, whereas Romania is a big market and stands an extra chance, said Peter Számely, head of real estate finance CEE with Hypo NOE Bank, reports local Capital.ro. Romania is the only country in the region which can compete with Poland, said John Verpeleti, Chairman of the Management Board (Eastern Europe) at Colliers International.
