The volume of investments in Romania's economy grew by 15.3 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of the year, to some EUR 3.9 billion, according to the country's Statistics Institute. The nine-month investments in the country's economy reached EUR 9.4 billion, up 2.7 percent year-on-year. Investments in new constructions covered 51.1 percent of the total , while investments in equipment and transport vehicles made some other 39.4 percent.
