Italian lender Intesa Sanpaolo posted a EUR 3 million profit after nine months in Romania, bouncing back from a EUR 3 million loss during the same period of 2013. The group's loan portfolio in Romania stood at EUR 700 million, EUR 600 million of which were performing loans. More than 90% of the bank’s performing loans are retail loans. Assets in Romania stood at EUR 1.1 billion, down from EUR 1.2 billion at end-2013. editor@romania-insider.com
