Intel: Eastern Europe has potential for wearable technologies

Wearable technologies will see a boost in 2016, which will help develop the Internet of Things, said Bogdan Georgescu, Intel Channel Account Manager for Romania and Bulgaria. Eastern Europe is not a well-known market for early adopters, but wearable technologies have development potential, Georgescu added, cited by local Wall-street.ro. Intel, the largest microprocessor producer worldwide, has introduced on the local market a new smartphone, which can monitor physical activity. It also presented headphones which can monitor the heartbeat and don’t need batteries.
