A modern integrated waste management system will be built in Harghita county, Romania, by the end of next year, via a project financed with European money. The value of the investment amounts to over RON 164 million (some EUR 37 million) and the project will create some 120 jobs, reports local Mediafax. Over 70% of the funds for this project are European funds, 14.2% are money from the state budget and 15.3% are from the Harghita County Council. Irina Popescu, irina.popescu@romania-insider.com
