Industrial production prices dropped by 2.8% year-on-year in April in Romania. This was due to the reduction by 2.4% on the internal market and by 3.5% on the external market. The energy industry recorded the highest decrease in prices, namely 8.7%. The capital goods industry saw a 2.8% drop in prices, whereas prices in the intermediate goods industry went down by 0.1%. However, prices in the current goods industry increased by 1.1%, while the prices in the durable goods industry went up by 1.3%, according to the National Institute of Statistics. editor@romania-insider.com
