Importer expects to sell 100 Audi A1 cars a year

Porsche Romania expects to sell up to 100 Audi A1 cars a year in Romania and the model could reach 8 percent of Audi sales on the Romanian market in 2011, according to Matei Albulescu, Audi brand manager within Porsche Romania importer. The car is priced between EUR 17,200 and EUR 23,100 in Romania (VAT included). Audi A3 and A4 models continue to be the company's best sold cars in Romania. The A1 model has been recently launched in Romania and will be followed by the Audi A7 model in November. The new generation of the Audi A6 limo will be launched in March 2011. The SUV Q3 model will also be re-launched in Romania in fall next year. There were 631 new Audi registrations in Romania in the first eight months of the year, down 42 percent compared to the same period of last year. Romania-insider.com
