HSBC Global Asset Management enters Romanian market

British company HSBC Global Asset Management, which managed assets of some USD 440 billion, has entered the Romanian market, where it will offer investment portfolio management and investment consultancy. HSBC Global Asset Management was registered by the Financial Surveillance Authority, according to a report from the local institution. HSBC Global Asset Management is the asset management division of HSBC Group, and has 6,300 offices across the world. Listed on the London, Hong Kong, New York, Paris and Bermuda stock exchanges, shares in HSBC Holdings plc are held by 216,000 shareholders in more than 131 countries and territories. editor@romania-insider.com
