How much does Romania's Finance Ministry want to borrow in February?

The Finance Ministry wants to draw RON 5.45 billion (EUR 1.2 billion) from commercial banks in February. It will borrow RON 5 billion in seven treasury bills and government bonds auctions and RON 450 million through additional non-competitive offers, reports Economica.net. The Finance Ministry also wants to attract in February EUR 500 million from banks through the issue of euro-denominated government bonds with a five-year maturity. The auction will take place on February 24. The Ministry will use the money to refinance public debt and finance the state budget deficit. editor@romania-insider.com
