Honda Marine enters Romanian market with a EUR 0.5 million investment

Honda Marine, the Honda division which produces boat engines, has entered the Romanian market with a EUR 0.5 million investment. HIT Power Motor, the official importer in Romania, which runs with a 12-dealer network of partners, has carried on the investment. Honda Marine targets a 15 percent market for outboard engines and 10 percent for inflatable boats, according to Valentin Stefanescu, sales director with HIT Power Motor. Honda Marine plans to open a service center and three showrooms this year and four other showrooms next year. These will require a further EUR 300,000 investment. editor@romania-insider.com
