Here comes the rain again: lower temperatures, bad weather in Romania

Temperatures will drop and it will start to rain for several days in many regions of Romania during a 10-day interval starting July 10, according to meteorologists. Romania’s Meteorological Association (ANM) made an estimation regarding the weather’s evolution between July 7 and July 20, for all regions in the country, namely Banat, Crisana, Transylvania, Maramures, Moldova, Dobrogea, Muntenia, Oltenia and the mountain areas. The estimations on regions are as follows:

• Banat

In the first three days of the period, the weather is expected to be hot, with maximum 33 degrees Celsius. On July 10, the temperatures will start to drop, to a maximum of 26 degrees Celsius by the end of the first week of this period. Then temperatures are expected to go slightly up in the second week. Rain is expected for the period between July 8 and July 13.

• Crisana

The weather will be warm until July 9, according to ANM, with maximum 32 degrees Celsius. After that date, temperatures are expected to drop, with maximum 24 degrees by the end of the first week. In the second week, temperatures are estimated to go back up to maximum 30 degrees Celsius. Showers are expected throughout the forecast, but they are more likely in the period between July 8 and July 17.

• Transylvania

From around 29 degrees Celsius in the first three days of the forecast, the temperatures will drop slightly on July 10 and will stay at a maximum of 23-24 degrees Celsius in the first week. They will start to increase during the second week, reaching up to 28 degrees Celsius on July 20. ANM estimates showers throughout the forecast, with a higher probability between July 9 and July 16.

• Maramures

Maximum temperatures of 31 degrees Celsius are estimated for this region until July 9, but they are forecasted to decrease to 23 degrees Celsius starting with July 10. The weather will be slightly warmer in the second week, with maximum temperatures of 28 degrees Celsius. Rain is mainly expected between July 8 and July 17.

• Moldova

Temperatures will stay between 29-30 degrees Celsius until July 9, but are expected to drop to 24 degrees in the last two days of the first week of forecast. Then, weather is expected to get warmer, with maximum temperatures of 29 degrees Celsius. Rain is forecast between July 9 and July 13, and again on July 15.
