Healthcare operator MedLife opens EUR 700,000 clinic in Ploiesti

MedLife, the biggest private healthcare operator in Romania, opened a new hyper clinic in Ploiesti following a EUR 700,000 investment. The clinic offers outpatient treatment, imaging and lab tests, and also includes a second opinion special division, MedLife Expert. The clinic covers 700 sqm and has 14 medical cabinets. Its team is made of 50 doctors and support personnel offering medical investigations and treatment for 22 medical specialties. This is MedLife’s 17th clinic in Romania. The group also includes 23 test labs, 10 hospitals, 3 maternities, 32 general medical centers, and 14 excellence centers specialized in various medical areas. The company will continue to expand via new openings and acquisitions, and has recently increased its investment budget for this year to EUR 76 million, according to Mihai Marcu, MedLife founder and majority shareholder.
