Head of Erste: Romania will outrun neighbor countries if it solves transport infrastructure

Romania will rapidly outrun many countries in the region if it solves the transport issue, by using European funds to develop projects in this area, among others, said Andreas Treichl (in picture), general manager and president of the Erste group. “The situation in Romania is difficult. I think Romania stands a better chance than Hungary to come out of the difficult situation because it has an advantage due to the reduced foreign debt and the better mix of workforce cost and productivity,” said Treichl in an investors' meeting in Dubrovnik.
